Ontario Greenland Camp - Sept 10,11,12 - ontariogreenlandcamp.com

Okay, so it's not in May or June but we have to tell you what we're doing too while we promote everyone else! We're running a really fun camp for anyone and everyone who's ever considered trying a greenland paddle or for those of you who live, breathe, and love their Greenland Stick. We have the "World Famous", well kayaking world famous, Cheri Perry and Turner Wilson as our Senior Instructors for the weekend http://kayakways.net. We also have a woman by the name of Heather Lamon who is competing in Greenland this year, as well as Adam Hansen a native Greenlander who is coming to share his Greenland kayaking skills and culture with us. Cheri and Turner are spending the summer travelling to symposiums from the East to West coast of the States and their last stop is our Ontario Greenland Symposium. We will also have greenland instructors from Ontario as well. Kelly McDowell from The Complete Paddler, Paul Renaud from Harbourfront, James and Dympna from learntokayak.ca and a few others.

We've rented out Camp Couchiching for the weekend. We went and checked it out last week and it's a great spot. The water will be warm, the food will be great, the cabins are cozy and your instruction will be world class. No you don't have to roll to come, that's what the weekend is for, but chances are you will before you leave! You can sign up your partner for the weekend and they can either join in as we will have kayaking for beginners or they can play tennis, basketball, read, or come down to the beach and watch you dunk all day. Food's included, cabins are included, and instruction is included. We will have babysitting for little ones and a camp counsellor for any older kids. (Not sure yet what we'd have to charge for kids, it would just be to cover their food and lodging , so it would be very reasonable.)

The cost will be $295. for the weekend and is limited to 40 participants so make sure you sign up early.
