Moving Water Level 2 Skills

Aim
Moving Water Level 2 represents the highest canoeing skill level within the Moving Water discipline and provides the candidate with the opportunity to improve his/her moving water skills under more challenging Class II - III water (rapids). Canoeists taking this Course should have considerable paddling experience beyond the Moving Water Level 1 Course.

Prerequisites
PC Moving Water Level 1 (tandem and solo), equivalent certification, or comparable skills and experience (with the permission of the Course Director).

Level 2A   Twelve (12) hours
Level 2B   Twelve (12) hours
Level 2    Twenty-four (24) hours

Class ratio
Level 2A   1 instructor:10 participants
Level 2B   1 instructor:5 participants

Level 2    1 instructor:10 participants and 1 instructor:5 participants respectively
