Paddle Canada collects personal information from prospective members, subscribers, instructors, course participants, volunteers, and members of the general public via promotions, sponsorships, programs and events. The Past President serves as the Privacy Officer and is responsible for the monitoring of information collected and data security, and for ensuring that all staff and volunteers receive appropriate training on privacy issues and their responsibilities. The Privacy Officer also handles personal information access requests and complaints.

An individual may withdraw consent to the collection, use or disclosure of personal information at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
